Fee Status:
There are five selections, but only pend (IFP pending) and pd (paid) typically apply in civil cases at the time of filing.
- pend (IFP pending) – Select this option if you intend to file an application to proceed in forma pauperis with this case.
- due (due) – Do not use.
- fp (in forma pauperis) – Do not use.
- none (no fee required) – for attorney use.
- pd (paid) – Select this option if you intend to pay the filing fee during docketing of the complaint or notice of removal.
- wv (waived) – for U.S. Attorney use.
