Unless a proceeding is restricted, hearings are open to the public. To attend in person, note the courtroom location and hearing time on the court calendar, which lists daily proceedings along with the presiding judge. If a hearing is conducted remotely by video or audio, members of the press and public may listen to the proceeding remotely through a telephonic line. Media professionals should contact the presiding judge's courtroom deputy for information about dialing in for telephonic access.
Media professionals may order transcripts of unrestricted proceedings by following instructions for ordering transcripts. The official court reporters for the District of Oregon are listed below. If the court reporter for your proceeding is not listed below, please call 503-326-8190.
