The recording of audio, video, or still images by means of any recording device is prohibited anywhere in District of Oregon courthouses, including courtrooms, except as authorized by a judge for ceremonial or educational purposes. This prohibition extends to judicial proceedings conducted remotely by teleconference, videoconference, or by any other means of electronic communication. (See Local Rule 83-14.)
