CVB Info and Proceeding Schedules

If you received a notice to appear for a CVB Violation, please refer to the CVB Proceeding Schedules below for hearing information.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Court has appointed the Federal Public Defender (FPD) to assist you with your case at no cost. An attorney from the FPD can assist you in discussing options related to your citation, including reducing the fine, creating a payment plan, scheduling a trial, or seeking dismissal. This should be done before your court appearance and could eliminate the need for any appearance. Contact information for the FPD is available on the CVB Proceeding Schedule below for the appropriate division of the Court.

If you would rather discuss the violation, a payment plan, or a reduction of the fine before the scheduled hearing without the assistance of an attorney, please contact the U.S. Attorney’s Office using the information available on the CVB Proceeding Schedule below for the appropriate division of Court.  If you are able to resolve the violation with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, you may not be required to appear in court.

Currently the Court is unable to accept payments for CVB Citations. To make a payment online, visit the CVB website.

Please contact the CVB Clerk at 503-326-8016 if you have any questions.
