Attorney Reinstatement Procedures

Local Rule 83-6(d) details requirements for reinstatement to the bar of this Court following Oregon State Bar disciplinary action or return to active status. To apply for reinstatement an attorney must submit:

Applying for reinstatement may be done in an attorney's admissions case or using PACER, depending on the circumstances. Refer to the table below to determine the appropriate method for you to file for reinstatement.

You were admitted after 2013 and resigned or were disciplined after January 21, 2020…

File an Application for General Admission and your supporting documentation in the case in which you were admitted or in which the Order to Show Cause and Order of Reciprocal Discipline was issued by the Court. Use the event Application for Reinstatement, located in the Civil menu under Attorney Admissions. You will be prompted to pay the admissions fee during filing. Results of your application will be delivered via NEF.

You were admitted after 2013 and resigned or were disciplined before January 21, 2020…

Submit a Request for General Admission via PACER, following the Instructions for General Admission. Combine your application for admission with your supporting documentation from the Oregon State Bar into a single PDF document to upload. Results of your application will be delivered via e-mail.

You were admitted before 2013 and resigned after January 21, 2020…

Please contact the admissions clerk for assistance in unlinking your PACER and CM/ECF accounts so that you may re-apply for general admission via PACER. Results of your application will be delivered via e-mail.
