Creating PDF/A Documents with Microsoft Word 2010
To create a PDF/A document from Word 2010 document:
| step | action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Click File and select Save As. |
| 2 | Click the Options button. |
| 3 | In the Options window, click the checkbox for ISO 19005-1 Compliant (PDF/A). |
| 4 | Click the OK button to return to the Save As window. Click the Save button to save the PDF/A file. |
Some versions of Word 2010 may have a Create PDF/XPS Document option available under Save & Send, from which the above steps may also be followed.
