Biographical Statement

I have mediated approximately 300 cases and arbitrated over 30 cases for the Deschutes County Circuit Court and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). I am a member of the Early Neutral Evaluation and Mediation Panels of the United States District for the Northern District of California and the Oregon Court of Appeals Settlement (Mediation) conference program.  I have over 300 hours of mediation training.

I have litigated in state and federal courts for over forty years. I was managing partner of King, MacLeod, Alford & Morey in San Francisco.  I represented the London and Swedish marine and special lines insurance markets including Lloyds of London's Claims office, various underwriting syndicates, the Institute of London Underwriters, and Skandia Insurance in personal injury, products liability, construction, securities, toxic tort, insurance defense, and admiralty/ maritime matters including cargo loss, longshore and yacht claims.
