Biographical Statement

I have represented parties in mediations in cases in state and federal courts across the country. I have diverse trial experience in commercial litigation and personal injury matters. Although I have not served as a mediator, I am eager to begin mediating cases. In February and March 2010, I completed 32 hours of the Basic Mediation Training sponsored by the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and presented by Justice Susan Leeson.

I began my legal career 15 years ago as a law clerk for the Chief Judge of the U.S.D.C. for the Eastern District of Texas. I then worked for Fulbright & Jaworski LLP (Texas) and Stoel Rives LLP (Oregon) before<br />establishing a law firm representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. I hold an AV Peer Review Rating. I am a former president of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
