Biographical Statement

K. William Gibson is a full-time arbitrator and mediator, handling primarily personal injury and insurance litigation, but also works with Arbitration Service of Portland, where he also handles real estate and business disputes. He is a 1979 graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School and has been a practicing lawyer since 1980. He received advanced mediation training in 1983 through the San Diego Mediation Center, but previously studied arbitration and mediation at the University of Oregon where he received a Master's Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations in 1972.

Mr. Gibson is a licensed pilot and has been studying Mandarin Chinese for the past six years. He has written and edited several books on Personal Injury practice and law practice management for the American Bar Association.
