Biographical Statement

I completed 80 hours of mediation training through Pepperdine University's Mediation Skills Workshop and the Center for Mediation in Law's Mediation Intensive Training program.  I have limited my mediation practice to my areas of expertise: labor and employment and ERISA denial of benefit matters. My depth of knowledge of employment law, exposure to a variety of mediation styles throughout the country as a litigator, and experience as both plaintiff and defense counsel provide me a broad perspective that I have thus far (knock on wood) used to successfully mediate all the cases I have worked on as a neutral.

I practiced labor and employment law at two of the country's largest law firms for nine years before opening my own employment law boutique in 2004 where I represent both sides. I am a member of the Oregon, Washington and California bar and a certified senior human resources professional (SPHR)
