Accessing Case Files from the National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Alsaska Pacific Federal Records Center in Seattle is the repository for closed case files from the District of Oregon. Beginning July 1, 2011, NARA will no longer allow on-site inspection of case records that are stored at the Seattle facility. Individuals wishing to review case files must request that the file be sent back to the appropriate divisional office within the District. The file can then be reviewed on courthouse premises.
NARA will still provide copying and printing services for records in its possession. To order a copy of a case file you can use the online order process or print an order form from the NARA website and mail or fax the form to the Seattle facility. More information about this policy change can be found in the official announcement from NARA.Última actualización el Miércoles 06 de Julio de 2011
