Verification of pleadings and claims to property must be by the parties, or one of them, or by the attorney for the party, and, if a corporate party, by an officer or by the attorney for said party or corporation.
If the personal oath or the solemn affirmation of a party is demanded, the court may, on good cause, require the same and stay the proceedings a reasonable time for the securing thereof.
